Photos & Usage Rights
If you have high-quality photos you’d like us to consider using, we’d love to see them.
When submitting photos, please include:
- Photographer’s name
- Photographer’s contact information (or tag them in the post)
We can only use photos that we’re cleared to post. If needed, we’ll reach out to the photographer directly to request permission or purchase usage rights. This step is required before we can share any images.
Social Media Collaboration
We want to be part of your digital team and will do our best to promote you across adidas Wrestling channels. That said, adidas follows strict brand guidelines, and sometimes we’re unable to repost or co-author content.
We may need to decline collaborations if:
- Another brand logo is visible
- The image includes a non-adidas athlete
- The photo quality or content doesn’t meet brand standards
We know this can be frustrating, but it’s never personal—it’s policy. Please keep tagging us and inviting us to collaborate. When it works, we’re all in.
Important: We also need photographer permission to repost. Please send their name and contact info or tag them in the post so we can connect directly.
Live Event Coverage
At select events, we’ll have a photographer on site and may post live. We aim to choose photos and captions that best represent the athlete, the brand, and the sport.
We don’t typically run posts by athletes before publishing. However, if we ever share something you’re not happy with—whether it’s the photo, caption, or context—just message us. We’re happy to adjust or take it down.
You’ll often see our go-to photographer Geoff Riccio (@geoffriccio) mat-side. If you spot him, send your opponent his way and don’t forget a smile (or a flex).
If you’re ever looking for photos to post yourself, we usually have additional images that didn’t make it to our feed. Email us and we’ll send you a link. If you use them, please tag the photographer and @adidaswrestling.
Keep Us in the Loop
We try to stay on top of what’s going on, but we do miss things. If you have:
- Upcoming events (camps, competitions, qualifiers, etc.)
- Club changes
- A new shipping address
- Size changes or if any gear doesn’t fit right
…please shoot us an update. We want to make sure your gear fits perfectly and gets to the right place every time.
